J. Robert Lovett, Ph.D.

J. Robert Lovett, Ph.D.J. Robert Lovett, Ph.D., is the Founding Chairman of the Da Vinci Science Center and has been a Trustee since Sept. 1997.

Lovett led a group of influential community members who helped the Center become an independent nonprofit organization in 1999 and served as its Chairman from 1999-2001. Lovett also was instrumental in forming the 2004 merger between the Discovery Center of Science and Technology and Leonardo da Vinci’s Horse, Inc. (LDVHI) to form the current incarnation of the Da Vinci Science Center.

Lovett also is a founding member of the Da Vinci Science Center’s Leonardo Society of donors, and a long-time member of its Advancement Committee.
