October 24, 2012A new school in Coopersburg, Pa., is inspiring adults to discover more eco-friendly lifestyles.
Founded in 2010, the Sustainability School offers low-cost classes in topics including growing herbs, composting, raising chickens, and breaking bread.
Sustainability is defined as creating and maintaining the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Neighbors Teresa Kirk and Kristi Daly created the Sustainability School after sharing their knowledge with neighbors and friends informally though social media platforms.
