Thanksgiving Weekend Stuffed with Domino’s Pizza and Tasty Fun

ALLENTOWN, Pa., November 15, 2012 – Thanksgiving weekend at the Da Vinci Science Center (DSC) will be stuffed with Domino’s pizza and tasty visitor fun along with the world-famous Bodies Revealed exhibition.

The Center’s popular Play With Your Food Thanksgiving activities will be back for leftovers from Friday, Nov. 23-Monday, Nov. 26. This year’s food-flavored science activities include a finger-licking-good green pea DNA extraction, a corn kernel dig, a tablecloth yank challenge, a turkey feather plucking for prizes, and opportunities to blast carrot cannons. Thanksgiving weekend visitors can purchase food from Domino’s on Friday, Nov. 23; Saturday, Nov. 24; and Monday, Nov. 26.



All Play With Your Food activities will be included with paid Da Vinci Science Center admission and will be available Friday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 24, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 25, from 12-4 p.m.; and Monday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Thanksgiving weekend visitors also can experience the world-famous Bodies Revealed exhibition, presented St. Luke’s University Health Network as part of the Da Vinci Science Center’s Year of the Human Body project. Bodies Revealed is available with an additional $10.00 per charge per visitor, or $8.50 for Center members. Bodies Revealed is produced by Premier Exhibitions, Atlanta, Ga.

The Da Vinci Science Center will be open from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, and Saturday, Nov. 24; from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25; and from Monday, Nov. 26, from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
