Da Vinci Science Center Sets Another Single-Day Visitation Record
December 28, 2012ALLENTOWN, Pa., December 28, 2012 – It took nearly seven years for the Da Vinci Science Center (DSC) to set a new single-day paid visitation record, but it took only one day to break that record again.
The Center welcomed 990 paid visitors on Friday, surpassing the single-day paid visitation of 981 people set on Thursday. The previous single-day record was set on Dec. 29, 2005, with 931 paid visitors.
The Da Vinci Science Center continued its Polar Science Adventures on Friday with stage presentations of its popular Supercoolness shows and two fun-filled lab rooms of activities, including an igloo built from empty milk bottles. Polar Science Adventures are presented in part by Follett Corporation of Easton, Pa.
The world-renowned Bodies Revealed exhibition, presented by St. Luke’s University Health Network, also is appearing at the Da Vinci Science Center through Feb. 10, 2013, as part of the Center’s Year of the Human Body project. Bodies Revealed is a production of Premier Exhibitions, Atlanta, Ga.
