Boy Scout Camp-In: Electricity Merit Badge

Program for Boy Scouts of All Ages

Explore all things electricity and complete requirements 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 11 as you make an electromagnet, simple motor, complete circuits, and more. Scouts must complete requirement 1 before coming and be prepared to have a discussion with a Merit Badge Counselor. Scouts that complete requirements 2, 8, 9, and 10 beforehand and speak to a Merit Badge Counselor with a completed workbook during breakfast will receive a completed Blue Card. Scouts that do not complete requirements 2, 8, 9, and 10 beforehand will receive a partial Blue Card.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.
What Happens
Boy Scouts sleep over at the Da Vinci Science Center, explore the Center's exhibit floor, and enjoy a variety of enjoyable hands-on activities that help them earn a Scout award or a part of an exclusive Da Vinci Science Center patch. Brown bag dinners are permitted. An evening snack and continental breakfast are provided.
