Senior Science Mondays Program: Minimally Invasive Surgery

The Da Vinci Science Center’s Senior Science Monday Programs are for curious minds ages 62 and up. Participants enjoy the program, led by officials from St. Luke’s University Health Network, along with light refreshments and a full day of exploring the Science Center with a membership or admission at a reduced price.

January 2018 Program

  • Topic: Modern technology that allows surgeons to do major operations with minimal trauma to the patient
  • Presenter: Peter Lundberg M.D., Bariatric Surgery Fellow
  • Description: Dr. Lundberg will discuss the most common procedures done at St. Luke’s and why we do them for healthy living, plus tips for those interested in pursuing medicine as a career.
