Da Vinci Science Center Gala

Joy Wang of Parkland High School, a 2013 Intel Science Talent Search finalist, was one of ten 2013 Da Vinci Science Center (DSC) Hall of Fame Award winners who have brought science to life as far north as Saylorsburg, Pa., and as far south as Souderton, Pa. The Center bestowed its 2013 awards to students, educators, corporate partners, and community leaders during its Hall of Fame Gala, presented by PPL Corporation, on April 27, 2013.

Honored students and educators represented the urban Allentown, Bethlehem Area, and Easton Area school districts; the suburban Parkland School District; and homeschooling. The 2013 corporate and community award winners were Lutron Electronics Company of Coopersburg, Pa., and Greg Butz of Alvin H. Butz, Inc., of Allentown, Pa.
