The Da Vinci Science Center is at the corner of the Hamilton Blvd. Bypass and Cedar Crest Blvd. in Allentown, Pa., on land it leases from Cedar Crest College. The Center can be accessed and exited along the Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Visitors are asked not to drive through the Cedar Crest College campus.

Special Traffic Advisory

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will reconstruct part of the Cedar Crest Boulevard Bridge near the road’s intersection with US-22 (Route 22). The bridge is less than two miles from the Da Vinci Science Center and is used frequently by Center visitors. This construction will present short-term lane restrictions.

Directions From the Lehigh Valley Region

Take US-22 (Route 22) to the Cedar Crest Blvd. exit. Turn left at the top of the exit on to Cedar Crest Blvd. Follow Cedar Crest Blvd. to traffic light at Hamilton Blvd. (King George Inn). Turn left onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to the parking lot entrance on the right.

Directions From Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)

Exit Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) and turn right onto Airport Road (PA-987). Follow Airport Road south for 0.2 miles to US-22 West (Route 22). Take Route 22 West to the Cedar Crest Blvd. exit in Allentown. Turn left at the top of the exit on to Cedar Crest Blvd. Follow Cedar Crest Blvd. 2.5 miles to traffic light at Hamilton Blvd. (King George Inn). Turn left onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to the parking lot entrance on the right.

From the Philadelphia Region and Points South

Take the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) north to Exit #56, Lehigh Valley. Follow US-22 (Route 22) East to Cedar Crest Blvd. exit. Turn left at the top of the exit on to Cedar Crest Blvd. Follow Cedar Crest Blvd. to traffic light at Hamilton Blvd. (King George Inn). Turn left onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to parking lot entrance on the right.

From the Pocono Region and Points North

Take the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) south to Exit #56 Lehigh Valley. Follow US-22 (Route 22) East to Cedar Crest Blvd. exit. From the Berks County Region

Take I-78 East into Lehigh County. Take Exit #55/PA-29 Cedar Crest Blvd. Follow Cedar Crest Blvd. for 1 mile to intersection with Hamilton Blvd. (King George Inn). Turn right onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to parking lot entrance on the right.

From Central and Western Pennsylvania

Take I-81 North toward Allentown and follow I-81. Take Exit #89 onto I-78 East and follow I-78 for approximately 54 miles. Take Exit #54 US-222 (Hamilton Blvd.) and turn left onto Hamilton Blvd. Follow Hamilton Blvd. For approximately 1.5 miles, past intersection with Cedar Crest Blvd. (King George Inn) to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to parking lot entrance on the right.

From New Jersey and New York

Take I-95 South to I-78 West into Pennsylvania. Take Exit #55/PA-29 Cedar Crest Blvd. Follow Cedar Crest Blvd. for 1 mile to intersection with Hamilton Blvd. (King George Inn). Turn right onto Hamilton Blvd. and follow to U-turn for Hamilton Blvd. Bypass. Bear left onto the bypass and follow to parking lot entrance on the right.

Mass Transit Options

The Da Vinci Science Center is across the Hamilton Boulevard Bypass from the LANTA bus stop at the Cedar Point Shopping Center in Allentown, Pa. This stop is along LANTA Route 322, which begins at the Allentown Transportation Center (ATC) at 625 Linden St., and ends at Trexler Mall, Trexlertown, Pa. Trans-Bridge Lines and Greyhound Bus Lines offer daily service from New York, N.Y., to the Allentown Bus Terminal at 325 Hamilton St., in Allentown, a short distance from the ATC. Greyhound Bus Lines also offers service from Philadelphia, Pa. to the ATC.
