Your Requests

As an independent nonprofit organization, the Da Vinci Science Center Center relies on its admission revenue to support its operations. However, thanks to the generosity of its donors, corporate partners, and foundations, the Center is proud to offer support to community organizations and schools each year through donated passes for fundraising purposes.

Priority is given to educational organizations which align with the Center’s mission and operate in its 14-county primary service area. The standard donation is four one-day admission passes to the Center. The passes are valid for one calendar year and have no cash value. Organizations are limited to one (1) donation request per calendar year. Please see the guidelines below to determine if your organization is eligible for a donation request. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.

Eligible Organizations
  • Schools (public and private)
  • Nonprofit educational organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) status
  • Community service organizations

 

Non-Eligible Organizations
  • For-profit organizations
  • Third-party requests
  • Events benefiting a single person or family
  • Religious or political organizations

How to Request a Donation

Please include the following information with a donation request:

  • Event date
  • Contact name and address
  • Contact phone number and e-mail address
  • A description of the fundraising effort
  • A copy of organization’s IRS determination letter indicating 501(c)(3) status and federal ID number

Please send all requests at least eight (8) weeks in advance of the event. Donations for approved requests will be mailed to the address provided. Requests not approved will not receive a reply.

The Da Vinci Science Center does not accept requests via telephone or in-person visits.
 

Acknowledgement Form

A Da Vinci Science Center Contribution Acknowledgement Form is to be completed and submitted to the Da Vinci Science Center within ninety (90) days of the issue date of any contibution. Failure to submit this completed form will result in an organization’s disqualification of subsequent Da Vinci Science Center contributions for a period of no less than twenty-four (24) months.
