The Da Vinci Science Center has opened registration for its Summer 2015 Camps along with early-bird pricing that offers savings for both members and non-members.
The Da Vinci Science Center has presented its Summer Camps since 1994. Its week-long day camps include morning sessions and afternoon sessions. Campers can be registered for a morning session, an afternoon session, or both on the same day. Registrations can be made any time using a computer, tablet, or mobile device. Families can save $10.00 off each camp session by registering and completing payment by March 21.
The camps will be a popular part of the Da Vinci Science Center’s summer 2015 season of ExSCIting Adventures that opens kids to a world of playful exploration.
Summer 2015 Camp highlights include a special Earth Explorers session during the Center’s presentation of the traveling exhibition National Geographic Presents: Earth Explorers. Additional highlights include a new Invention Lab session, the return of the popular Mini Med School session, and trips to a nearby mine and to a nearby airport.
The Da Vinci Science Center and The Baum School of Art also will present a special full-day session on STEAM – or Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics – for students ages 10-13 in August. The STEAM Camp session is sponsored by community leaders Bob and Sandy Lovett.
