DSC Drops and Hops into Spring with 2014 EggCellent Adventures

The Da Vinci Science Center will hop and drop into spring when it presents its eighth annual EggCellent Adventures in partnership with Just Born Quality Confections on April 18-19 and 21, 2014.

The 2014 EggCellent Adventures will include its traditional egg drop, which challenges visitors to protect their eggs from cracking when they are released from the Center’s 19-foot-high balcony. The egg drops will take place on all three days from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The weekend also will include an appearance of live bunnies from PAWSibilities Animal Rescue Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Visitors will be able to pet and play with the bunnies and discover more about them. PAWSibilities is a nonprofit no-kill shelter in Harleysville, Pa.

The famous Just Born Peepster vehicle will appear on Friday, and visitors will receive Just Born treats on all three days while supplies last. Visitors on all three days also can watch live hatching of baby chicks from Moyer’s Chicks in Quakertown, Pa.

The Da Vinci Science Center’s 2014 EggCellent Adventures also are supported by AirGas and Weis Markets. All activities will be included with Center admission.

The Da Vinci Science Center will be closed on Sunday, April 20, 2014, in observance of the Easter holiday.
