DSC Opens its 2016 Toys for Tots Holiday Collection

Toys for Tots
The Da Vinci Science Center has opened its 2016 holiday season collection for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

This is the sixth year in which the Da Vinci Science Center has collected for the Toys for Tots campaign. Center visitors can drop off new and unwrapped toys or purchase toys in the DSC Curiosity Shop through Dec. 18.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not-for-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

Now in its 70th year, Toys for Tots provides joy and a message of hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy or book during the holiday season. Many of the books, games, and sports equipment provided as gifts make a significant contribution to their educational, social, and physical development. Additional information is available on the web at toysfortots.org.
