Highlights: DSC Adds Joe’s Workshop Program for January

The Da Vinci Science Center has added a Joe’s Workshop Program on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, to its visitor program schedule.

Joe’s Workshop Programs give visitors chances to use real tools and build fun items to enjoy at home with DSC educator and handyman Joe Schoenly. As they build, the visitors learn basic scientific and mathematical concepts.

Visitors on Jan. 16 will be able to build their own Electric Light Pens, which kids and adults can use to write message in the dark and in the Center’s Shadow Room exhibit. The workshop will be open from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The program cost is $10.00 per person along with paid Center admission or membership.
