Local Animal Weekend – Saturday, Feb. 3 & Sunday, Feb 4

Learn about and meet animals that call Pennsylvania home with Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center. Get up close and personal with some feathery, furry, and scaly animals like owls, a falcon, a snake, and more! Live shows on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. &  2:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. & 2:30 p.m. Included with admission or membership. Reservation not required.  LEARN MORE

Bugging Out Weekend – Saturday, Feb. 10 & Sunday, Feb. 11

Learn about  everyone’s favorite two insects – the butterfly and the bee!

Saturday, Feb. 10 – “The Wonder of Butterflies”

Witness “The Wonder of Butterflies” with The Butterfly Lady, Mari Gruber, from the Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary on Saturday, Feb. 10. Join us for three live shows at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. to discover new things about all the marvelous species of butterfly. Learn about differences between the butterfly and the moth, the life cycle and anatomy of a butterfly, and more! Sunday, Feb. 11 – “Dancin’ with the Honeybees”

Watch the scientific magic of the honeybee hive come to life during the “Dancin’ with the Honeybees” live program by Cliff Sunflower, master beekeeper, environmental educator, storyteller and performer. With two chances to see the program at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., you can’t miss this live opportunity to learn about the fascinating life of a honeybee. Included with admission or membership. Polar Animals Weekend – Saturday, Feb. 17 – Monday, Feb. 19

Learn about animals from the North and South Poles all weekend long with these special guests.

Saturday, Feb. 17 – Polar Animal Program with the Center for Aquatic Sciences from Adventure Aquarium

Travel to the North and South Pole with the Center for Aquatic Sciences from Adventure Aquarium. During three live shows at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., see a real narwhal (a.k.a. unicorn of the sea!) tusk, touch a polar bear pelt, observe a live shark, and learn about everything in between! Sunday, Feb. 18 – African Penguin & Friends from the Lehigh Valley Zoo

Learn about exotic animals with the Lehigh Valley Zoo. During two live shows at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., watch and learn about the African Penguin and what makes it different from its South Pole cousin. The penguin won’t be alone; the Lehigh Valley Zoo will bring some of its friends too! Included with admission or membership. Reservation not required. LEARN MORE

Monday, Feb. 19 – Live Sled Dogs from Arctic Paws Dog Sled Tours

Continue the tradition of bringing your family to see our furry friends from the Arctic Paws Dog Sled Team!
