Visitor and Refund Policies

General Refund Policies

  • Cancellation 21 or More Days Prior to Program or Visit: Full refund minus non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellation 8-20 Days Prior to Program or Visit: 50 percent refund.
  • Cancellation 0-7 Days Prior to Program or Visit: No refund.

School Field Trip Policies

  • A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Payment in full may be made up to the day of the visit.

Schedule Adjustment Policies

  • Da Vinci Science Center understands that sometimes it becomes necessary for a group to reschedule a program or trip once a reservation has been made.
  • Center will be happy to accommodate that schedule change if there is availability on the new date, one time at no cost.
  • Additional changes to the schedule date or program choice will be made with a $25.00 processing fee for each time the reservation is adjusted.
  • A $25.00 processing fee applies to all programs at the Center and all Outreach Programs.
  • Fees will not apply if dates are changed due to inclement weather.
  • There is no fee for changing the number of participants in a group.

Public Group Outing Policies

  • A $50.00 non-refundable deposit, plus payment for optional food, is required to make a reservation.
  • Payment in full may be made up to the day of the visit.

Outreach Program Policies

  • Payment in full is due two (2) weeks prior to the program.
  • For programs that extend over multiple days, payment in full for the entire series of programs is due two (2) weeks prior to the first program date.
  • A $50.00 rescheduling fee will be charged if an educator is traveling to the program’s location prior to receiving notification that a program needs to be rescheduled.

Scout Day Program Policies

  • Payment in full is required at time of reservation.
  • A $25.00 portion of payment is a non-refundable deposit.

Scout Camp-in Program Policies

  • A 25 percent deposit is required at time of reservation.
  • A $25.00 portion of payment is a non-refundable deposit.
  • Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the program.
