Matthew R. Sorrentino, Esq., served as Da Vinci Science Center Chairman from 2001-2006.

Sorrentino’s tenure as Board of Trustees Chairman included the merger of the Discovery Center of Science and Technology with Leonardo da Vinci’s Horse, Inc. (LDVHI); the forming of a partnership with Cedar Crest College to build the Da Vinci Science Center’s current facility on the school’s campus; and opening of that facility in Oct. 2005.

Sorrentino is the Managing Partner for Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., in Allentown, Pa., a law firm known previously as Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino, P.C. Sorrentino also has served as Solicitor for the County of Lehigh since 2005 and is a former Chairman of Community in Schools of the Lehigh Valley. He has practiced law for more than 30 years, specializing in health care, business, and real estate.

Sorrentino received the Da Vinci Science Center’s Spirit of Verrocchio Mentorship Award in 2006.
