Sharon Alexander, CFRE, has been the Da Vinci Science Center’s Campaign Manager since Mar. 2018 and is a member of the Center’s Leadership Team.
Alexander joined the Da Vinci Science Center Philanthropy Department as the Development and Stewardship Coordinator in Feb. 2016 and was the Philanthropy Program Manager from Sep. 2017 to Mar. 2018 before transitioning into her current role. Her responsibilities include providing administrative leadership and support for the proposed $130 million Da Vinci Science City project, overseeing the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) initiative, and assisting with the organization’s annual fundraising program.
Alexander has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) since 2012 and currently serves as President-Elect of the Chapter. She will assume the role of President in 2020.
Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA with a double major in Digital Communications and English. She earned accreditation as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) in 2015.
