Tyler Groft has been the Da Vinci Science Center’s Museum Education Manager since Nov. 2015 and is a member of the Center’s Leadership Team.
Groft’s responsibilities include leading the daily operations of all educational programming taking place in the Center’s facility – including school field trip experiences and workshops, camps, visitor programs, and visitor events. He also appears frequently as a co-presenter during the Center’s Up and Atom Science segments on WFMZ 69 News at Sunrise.
Groft joined the Da Vinci Science Center staff in March 2014 as a Science Educator and served as its Outreach Program Coordinator from July 2014-Nov. 2015. Groft was an instrumental part of the Center’s 22 percent growth in Outreach Program participation the 2014-2015 program year. Groft also has participated in community service roles with the Borough of Hanover Recreation Department in York County, Pa., and the American Cancer Society.
Groft holds an integrated bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Arts, and Sciences from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
