Brandi M. Kennedy received a B.A. in psychology and an M.Ed. in school counseling from IUP and a secondary teaching certificate in science education from Kutztown University. She began her career as a counselor in the juvenile justice system for the PA Department of Health and Human Services and then moved on to quality assurance in the PA state hospital system at Torrance and Allentown State Hospitals. In 2012, Brandi became a high school science teacher for BECAHI and then Dieruff in 2014. At DHS, Brandi teaches biology, physical science, environmental science, and geology. In her time at DHS, Brandi has been the recipient of two Teacher Innovation Grants via the Allentown School District Foundation, as well as a Lehigh County conservation grant. Brandi lives in Macungie with her partner, 3 children, and many pets. She loves to play/coach sports, run half marathons, forage the forests for mushrooms, and spend time with her family and friends.
