She uses hands-on activities, labs, and projects to increase interest in science.

In addition to her time in the classroom, she enjoys being involved in extracurricular activities to help build relationships with her students. Marissa is the co-advisor of the 2022 graduating class, a co-advisor of an after-school program to help athletes succeed in academic and athletic goals, the advisor of the FHS Dance Team, and she is a Check and Connect mentor to guide students in a positive direction.
She is an East Stroudsburg University graduate, and she has a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Lehigh University. Marissa says she would not be where she is today without her amazing colleagues, family, and friends.
