Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission invites guests to step into the story behind the 1985 discovery of the RMS Titanic and uncover the classified U.S. Navy mission that helped make it possible.
Visitors can follow the clues that led oceanographer Dr. Robert Ballard and his team to Titanic, learn how deep-sea technology was used to explore more than two miles beneath the North Atlantic, and discover how a secret mission to survey the wrecks of the USS Thresher and USS Scorpion ultimately helped solve one of history’s greatest mysteries.
Along the way, guests will explore the story of Titanic itself, from its launch in 1911 and tragic maiden voyage to the decades-long search for its final resting place. The experience connects history, technology and discovery in a way that gives curious visitors a new perspective on a story they may think they already know.
Follow the clues, explore technology, and see how Ballard and his team cracked one of history’s greatest mysteries after more than 70 years beneath the sea.
