Boy Scout Camp-in: Space Exploration Merit Badge

Program for Boy Scouts of All Ages

Earn a partial Blue Card by completing all requirements, except #3 (Launch and recover a model rocket). Throughout the night, we will be learning everything there is to know about space exploration. Partial blue card included, signed by a merit badge counselor. Scouts may complete requirement #3 ahead of time, bring photographic evidence on their launch to the camp-in and be prepared to speak with a merit badge counselor to earn a full blue card the next morning.

What Happens
Boy Scouts sleep over at the Da Vinci Science Center, explore the Center's exhibit floor, and enjoy a variety of enjoyable hands-on activities that help them earn a Scout award or a part of an exclusive Da Vinci Science Center patch. Brown bag dinners are permitted. An evening snack and continental breakfast are provided.
