Healthy Hearts featuring Cyndi the SynDaver, presented by Highmark Blue Shield
Learn all about your heart in this fun, active workshop! You’ll move through stations that introduce you to actual hearts, put your heart to the test, and finish up with a hands-on tour of Cyndi the SynDaver, the Da Vinci Science Center’s state-of-the-art, lifelike synthetic cadaver.

Brain Games
Play with your senses and see how small changes in how you receive information makes a huge difference in how you process it. Test your reflexes and your reading skills, and try other simple brain challenges.

The MEGA Brain presented by St. Luke’s University Health Network
Walk through a giant, inflatable brain! Key features and conditions are explained in this unusual exploration of your cranial contents. Featuring lights, informative signage, and inflated brain structures.

The Rope Neuron Game
Visualize how neurotransmitters send signals with this activity. It’s easy…but teamwork is key! Work with your team to receive neurotransmitters and trigger the signal using a very over-sized neuron.

DNA Necklaces
Isolate your DNA and wear it with pride! This simple activity uses the student’s cheek cells (collected by a simple rinse-and-spit), which are then cleaned and stripped to reveal the DNA strand inside. You’ll take your sample with you in a small test-tube pendant!
