Wetlands Weekend

Experience the Traveling Turtle live show from the Wetlands Institute and meet a variety of turtles native to the New Jersey area.  Participants will also learn about the institute’s Diamondback Terrapin Conservation Project and get some quality time with live adult diamondback terrapins and even some hatchlingsPlus, the Wildlands Conservancy is back with more activities and some stream insects!

Saturday, Feb. 23 Activities

  • Stream Insects from the Wildlands Conservancy from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
  • Traveling Turtle live show from the Wetlands Institute at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. (presented by The Center at Holiday Inn Lehigh Valley)
  • Enviroscape at Inquiry Island, learn about how land pollution effects waterways

Sunday, Feb. 24 Activities

  • Stream Insects from the Wildlands Conservancy from 12 p.m.- 5 p.m.
  • Traveling Turtle live show from the Wetlands Institute at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. (presented by The Center at Holiday Inn Lehigh Valley)
  • Enviroscape at Inquiry Island, learn about how land pollution effects waterways
