Health & Safety Information

We care about your health and safety as well as the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and our community at large.

Here’s what we need you to do for your visit:

  • Cloth face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required for all visitors ages 3 and up, regardless of vaccination status. Face shields and masks with one-way air valves are not acceptable.
  • We highly recommend that all visitors, including members, make a reservation online in advance of visiting. There are a limited number of tickets available in each time slot and we cannot guarantee tickets will be available if you arrive at the Science Center without a reservation.
  • Please practice social distancing during your visit.
  • Please stay home if you are sick. If you are not feeling well and need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, please email ask@nulldavincisciencecenter.org or call 484-664-1002.
  • Please keep your hands clean by washing hands frequently or using one of our hand sanitizer stations.

Here’s what we have done to prepare for your visit:

  • All staff and volunteers are required to wear a proper face covering.
  • To avoid overcrowding, we are limiting total capacity in the building and implementing timed ticketing.
  • We have improved air quality in the building by implementing changes to our HVAC system, including upgrading air filters to meet the recommendations of public health officials, increasing the amount of fresh outdoor air that circulates through the system, and placing air purifiers throughout the building.
  • We have instituted enhanced cleaning protocols with special attention paid to high-touch surfaces and highly-trafficked areas of the building.

The above measures are subject to change based upon public health guidance and current conditions in our community.

Face Mask FAQs

Q: Why do you require face coverings for all staff, volunteers, and visitors?

A: Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) states that even if you are fully vaccinated, to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, masks should be worn indoors while in public.

Q: What if I have a health condition that prevents me from wearing a face covering?

A: All visitors will be required to wear a CDC recommended face covering. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the Science Center either at ask@nulldavincisciencecenter.org or 484-664-1002.
