Highlights: DSC Adds June 4 Girl Scout Day Program for Brownies
The Da Vinci Science Center will host an additional Girl Scout Day Program for Brownies on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Registered Girl Scouts will visit the Center, explore its exhibit floor, and participate in a variety of hands-on activities that will help them earn the Girl Scout Bugs badge. Participants will discover how to see like a bee, learn how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, and discover why lightning bugs light up.
Registration is required for this Girl Scout Program, and its cost is $16.00 per Girl Scout and $9.50 for adults. A registration form is available through the Da Vinci Science Center website. A ratio of one adult per five scouts is required. Scout leaders and required chaperones are free. Participants may continue visiting the Center after the program.
The Da Vinci Science Center offers day programs and camp-in programs for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts with hands-on activities led by professional educators. Scouts can earn badges, patches, pins, other scouting awards, or exclusive Da Vinci Science patches and badges. Private camp-in programs also are available for Scout groups of 50 or more people.
