Linny Fowler STEAM Scholarship Fund

The Linny Fowler STEAM Scholarship Fund provides need-and-interest based scholarships for school field trips, traveling science programs, summer camps, and other experiences.

• Schools qualifying for support serve student bodies in which at least 40% of its students qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
• Qualifying child care centers serve student bodies in which more than 40 percent of children qualify for a Pennsylvania Child Care Works (CWW) subsidy.

Application Process and Logistics

• Educators can apply online here.
• Applications can be submitted at any time.
• Notifications will be made within 2 weeks of submission of application.
• Funds are available to qualified organizations only.
• Organizations will not be granted more than $4,000 per year. Organizations may receive partial funding, based on availability.
• School field trips supported by scholarships must take place between September 1^st and March 31^st. Summer groups may also visit from June 19^th through August 31^st.
• Scholarships do not cover meals or transportation.
