H/WISE Research Study

WISE Research Study

Our WISE initiative has garnered national attention and federal funding through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

With the support of a two-year grant from IMLS entitled “Building a Community Ecosystem to Support Women in Science and Engineering,” the Da Vinci Science Center partnered with area colleges, universities, community organizations, and YOU, to identify how the community can develop programs and services that address the needs of area women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.

To participate in the study, please select your demographic:

You can help by participating in a key activity supported by the IMLS funding: a research study that will investigate your interest in and perceptions of the STEM fields.  By completing the 10-minute survey about your current participation in STEM programs and what you’d like to see in the future, you can help us to enhance the STEM learning and support system for women and girls in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities in eastern Pennsylvania.

We are gathering information from girls in fifth-twelfth grades, college students, and women working in these fields. This research is being jointly conducted by the Da Vinci Science Center and Cedar Crest College.

Participation is completely voluntary. Your answers are confidential and anonymous. If you decide to participate, you may stop at any time.
