The WISE Forum has been rescheduled for Monday, April 1.
The Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Forum brings together female high school students, faculty and students from area universities and colleges, and accomplished women from the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The first half of the evening consists of a Mentoring Dinner where attendees can network with each other – this is really an opportunity for the students with an interest in STEM to talk one on one with and hear stories and advice from female professionals and college students.
Following the dinner is a Public Panel Discussion featuring a panel of female distinguished STEM professionals from across the country.
Past panelists include: the retired Chairman and CEO for the DuPont Company; an Aerospace Engineer from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center; and active and retired executives from IBM, Merck, Mars Inc., Daiichi Sankyo, and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The forum is the flagship event for Science Center’s Women in Science and Engineering Network. Sanofi Pasteur is this year’s presenting sponsor.
Several sponsorship opportunities are available.
If you are a female high school student with an interest in STEM, apply to attend the WISE Forum.
Registration for this year’s Mentoring Dinner is closed. If you are interested in attending, please contact Sharon Alexander at 484-664-1002, Ext. 125.
