Program for Scouts BSA
In this special program, Da Vinci Science Center staff will lead scouts through all the requirements for the Sustainability Badge through developed curriculum and supervision from a merit badge counselor. They will also have a great opportunity to see two different exhibits during each visit; “Be the Astronaut” and “Jack-O-Lantern Lane”. For scouts to get full credit for this program they must complete requirement one before the first session, attend both sessions, and complete required take-home work between the sessions. Blue cards will be provided at the end of the second session.
This program is broken into two sessions. Session one is on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. Session two is on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
- Recommended for scouts in 7th grade and up
- $50 per scout for two-session program
- Scouts 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Scouts older than 13 may come unattended but will be responsible for themselves and parent must sign a waiver when scout is checked in. Bring a brown bag lunch or order pizza through the Science Center.
