ALLENTOWN, PA, August 18, 2025 – Get ready to let your wild side out at Nerd Nite Lehigh Valley: Party Animals, an unforgettable after-hours bash for ages 18+ at Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion! On Friday, August 22, from 5 to 9 p.m., join us for a roaring good time with interactive exhibits, wild animal encounters, hilarious science comedy, and music that’ll keep you dancing all night.
Event Highlights:
- Explore After Dark: Dive into our exciting exhibits in a whole new light, as we open our doors after-hours for a one-of-a-kind experience.
- Otters in the City: Our Director of Living Collections, Brandon Swayser, will share the fascinating story behind the creation of the Lehigh River Watershed exhibits and how we brought otters and other wildlife to the heart of downtown Allentown.
- Comedy with Glen Tickle: Get ready to laugh your tail off with the one and only Glen Tickle, stand-up comic and science enthusiast, for a night of hilarious science humor and witty observations.
- Special Animal Encounters: Meet some of our live animals up close and personal—who knows what wild critter you might encounter next?
- Music and Dancing with DJ Romeo G: Keep the party going with music that’ll have you dancing all night long.
- First Drink Included: Each ticket includes your first drink, and additional beverages are available at the cash bar.
- Themed Food Options: Grab a bite from our food offerings available for purchase, specially curated to fit the theme of the night.
- Get Your Picture with an Otter: For a small donation, you can take a memorable photo with one of our otter friends (safely behind glass, of course). We’ll snap the pic, you strike the pose! (Limited availability) Please note: We can’t guarantee the otters will pose on cue, but we promise you’ll walk away with a hilarious memory, some cool otter facts, and a great photo!
