Scout Day Program Descriptions

Career Pathways Badge Day

What do you want to do when you grow up? Come find your place in the wide range of STEAM career opportunities! We will explore workshops that help demonstrate some unusual and unexpected STEAM jobs and skills. Wrap up the morning with a panel discussion and informal meet-and-greet featuring local female STEAM professionals.

Animal Observer

Get up close and personal with some of Da Vinci Science Center’s resident animals! We’ll learn how to REALLY make great observations, using our senses, our artistic skills, and more. Our cute (and not so cute) critters make building our science skills easy and fun.

Girl Code

Looking forward to spending the school break playing video games? Video games are fun…but WRITING your own video games is way better! Take charge of your storyline, gameplay mechanics, character design and more. Build a PC game to take home to share with your friends and family.
