Maker Workshops for Adults & Teens

Create. Design. Build.

Unleash your creativity in our cutting-edge Fab Lab during hands-on, four-hour guided workshops in 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving, and stop-motion animation. Perfect for adults and teens 16+, these sessions offer an exciting dive into the world of digital design and fabrication—no experience needed.

Led by expert staff, you’ll learn step-by-step how to turn your ideas into real-world creations using professional design software and advanced tools. Once you complete a workshop, you’ll unlock access to Open Lab time—giving you the freedom to bring your own projects to life using the equipment you’ve trained on.

Laser Cutting/Engraving

Learn how to use free, open-source graphic design software (Inkscape) for laser engraving/cutting projects. Our instructors will help you create your own custom decorative lantern, lampshade, or pendant lamp (materials and several lighting hardware options included).

You will become familiar with the basics of additive manufacturing and preparing files for printing on our 3D printers (Bambu Labs X1-C), and then you will have time work on other designs of your choice.

Dates Available:

  • Tues., Aug. 5, 6-10 p.m.
  • Sun., Aug. 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Stop Motion Animation
