Grades 6-8 Summer Camp Details:
- Full week Fab Lab camps
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Price: $350/week (except for Summer Research Institute camp)
- Summer Research Institute camp price: $600 (2-week long camp)
- Members save $30 with code FDCAMP26 (discount does not apply to Summer Research Institute camp as it is grant supported)
- Snacks and lunch not included, campers should bring their own
- Camp t-shirt included
- Registration closes one week before each camp begins
- Materials fee included in registration price

Think Like a Designer
Explore the world of design through creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on projects. Whether you’re interested in engineering, art, or design – this program will help you develop the skills and mindset to turn your ideas into reality.
Pixel Maker
Students will explore 3D animation in Blender and create stop-motion projects while learning the basics of modeling, animation and storytelling.
Art + Tech
Blend traditional art with technology! Each day begins by exploring a piece of art history for inspiration, then enhancing those skills with laser cutters and 3D printers to transform classic art concepts into modern creations that merge creativity, design, and innovation.
Summer Research Institute
An immersive research experience for middle school students to explore how health is affected by the environment. Learn more about air quality, extreme heat, and respiratory health through hands-on scientific research in this two-week program. Fab Lab experiences supplement the data collection and communication of results.
