July 22, 2025

Excerpt from story by Cierra Genelle at WFMZ 69 News

Are you ready to put your brain to the test?

A new initiative is bringing hands-on science learning to camps and community events in Allentown.

The new community partnership will bring hands-on science learning directly to Allentown’s parks.

Friends of The Allentown Parks announced it has joined Da Vinci Science Center as a Community Connect Member, launching a new initiative where Science Center educators bring live science shows to camps and community events in parks throughout the city.

69 News Reporter Cierra Genelle was live at the Da Vinci Science Center trying out some of the demonstrations offered.
