In the News: The otters are LIVE! WFMZ-TV, Da Vinci Science Center OtterCam available for viewing 24/7

May 13, 2025

Excerpt from story by Lynda Weed at WFMZ 69 News

The otters at the Da Vinci Science Center are ready to make a splash right in the palm of your hand.

This is the official start of the 24/7 WFMZ-TV OtterCam.

It’s part of a new partnership between WFMZ and the DaVinci Science Center.

The Otter Cam is a 24/7 live stream to capture the engaging and playful world of the center’s otters; Toby, Cedar, Cacy, and Jordan.

Representatives of WFMZ-TV and the Da Vinci Science Center gathered Tuesday afternoon to celebrate the launch of the new otter camera

The new camera will be available year-round, as well as on the free 69 News and WFMZ+ apps.
