The new Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion will be a space reimagined; an immersive experience for visitors of all ages, reflective of the genius of its namesake, Leonardo.

Thanks to encouragement and strong support from PPL as the title sponsor, and the City of Allentown, local business leaders, ANIZDA, Lehigh County, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the 67,000 SF facility will soon become an iconic regional destination in the heart of downtown Allentown.

Curiosity Hall, with its iconic 60-foot human that pays homage to Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man as its focal point, celebrates the human body and mind, and provides visitors opportunities to follow their own curiosity through playful and inspiring interactive displays.

The My Body exhibit will feature interactive installations and a larger-than-life immersive human body experience that will celebrate the human body, explore how it works, and explain how to keep it healthy.

Lehigh River Watershed surrounds visitors with the flora and fauna of the Lehigh Valley with North American river otters as stars of the show. Developed in partnership with the Wildlands Conservancy, this exhibit will emphasize the importance of caring for our natural environment.

Science in the Making engages visitors in exploring scientific principles and their application in manufacturing processes with a focus on showcasing Lehigh Valley companies and manufacturing career opportunities.

The Da Vinci STEAM Learning Center will feature classrooms outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and an expanded array of STEAM programming designed to excite young minds and serve as a community hub and conduit to STEM careers.

A science theater and other gathering spaces will round out the experience.
