ALLENTOWN, PA, May 9, 2025 – Da Vinci Science Center and 69 WFMZ-TV are proud to unveil an exciting new partnership that brings the wonders of wildlife directly to homes, schools, and viewers across the region. On Tuesday, May 13 at 2:30 p.m., join us at Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion to debut the 69 WFMZ-TV Otter Cam — a 24/7 live stream capturing the engaging and playful world of the Science Center’s beloved North American river otters: Toby, Cedar, Cacy, and Jordan!

This event will provide the first look at the Otter Cam in action and highlight how this collaboration blends education, technology, and media to inspire curiosity and connect people of all ages with nature.

Following the launch, guests can attend a live Otter Chat at 3 p.m., led by the Science Center’s expert animal care staff and educators, and offering a deeper look at otter behavior, enrichment activities, and the science behind their care and conservation. “With the support of 69 WFMZ-TV, this new Otter Cam extends our mission beyond the walls of the Science Center,” said Lin Erickson, Executive Director and CEO of Da Vinci Science Center. “It’s an invitation for the community to explore wildlife and science in a meaningful, accessible way—anytime, anywhere.”

The 69 WFMZ-TV Otter Cam will be available year-round at https://wfmz.com/ottercam, on the free 69News App, and the free WFMZ+ Streaming App offering fun and educational access to one of the Science Center’s most popular exhibits.
