ALLENTOWN, PA, June 16, 2025 – Da Vinci Science Center is proud to announce the election of new officers to its Board of Trustees, along with the appointment of a new trustee and the naming of two esteemed community leaders as Honorary Trustees, during its Annual Meeting on June 13, 2025.
Newly Elected Officers of the Board of Trustees:
- Chair: Dan Bosket, Director, Community Action Development Corporation of Allentown
- Vice Chair: Stephanie Sherry, Vice President, Corporate Communications, Olympus Corporation of the Americas
- Secretary: Rex Schultz, President, Swagelok Allentown
New Trustee:
- Ed Harakel, Vice President of Field Operations, PPL
“We are excited to welcome Dan, Stephanie, and Rex into their new leadership roles and Ed to the Board,” said Lin Erickson, Executive Director and CEO of Da Vinci Science Center. “Their professional expertise, dedication to community service, and passion for education will help shape the Science Center’s future as we continue to expand our impact throughout the region. I look forward to the great things we will accomplish together.”
In addition, the Da Vinci Science Center Board of Trustees elected Pat and Heather Browne to the status of Honorary Trustees.
Pat Browne currently serves as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Together, Pat and Heather have demonstrated extraordinary service to Da Vinci Science Center, most notably through their pivotal role in securing public funding for the construction of the new downtown Allentown facility. Their leadership has created a powerful legacy that will enhance hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) learning for generations of students, families, and schools across the greater Lehigh Valley region.
Honorary Trustee status is a distinct recognition granted by the Board of Trustees to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Da Vinci Science Center’s mission and long-term success.
