ALLENTOWN, PA, June 3, 2026 – Da Vinci Science Center is proud to announce a generous contribution from Fulton Bank in support of the organization’s 2025-2026 Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). This investment will expand access to high-quality science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) education for students from under-resourced communities across the Lehigh Valley, equipping the next generation with the skills and experiences needed to succeed in the region’s growing innovation economy.
Fulton Bank’s contribution will directly support three key program areas:
- Career Pathways Programming: Funds will deliver high-impact Career Pathways programming designed to inspire and prepare students at every stage of their educational journey.
- Fab Lab and Mobile Fab Lab Materials: The contribution will fund materials for Da Vinci Science Center’s Fab Lab and Mobile Fab Lab, which will support the development of new photonics and optics learning experiences. These cutting-edge learning experiences introduce students to the science of light, data transmission, and photonics-based manufacturing – skills in high demand across the Lehigh Valley’s rapidly expanding advanced manufacturing sectors. By integrating these topics into hands-on programming, we prepare students for the careers of tomorrow.
- Real-World Business Connections: Students will be connected with local businesses to explore the science and engineering behind real-world careers. These meaningful partnerships help students see themselves as future innovators and professionals, bridging the gap between classroom learning and the dynamic opportunities available in the regional workforce.
“Fulton Bank’s commitment to our community is truly inspiring,” said Lin Erickson, Executive Director and CEO of Da Vinci Science Center. “This investment allows us to reach more students with the kind of transformative, hands-on STEAM experiences that open doors and change lives. Together, we are building a pipeline of talented young people ready to contribute to the Lehigh Valley’s innovation economy.”
“Through our Fulton Forward® initiative, we support workforce development efforts that can help introduce students to potential future careers,” said Kenneth Remick, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager at Fulton Bank. “We are grateful for the work of Da Vinci Science Center and the opportunity to collaborate with them to fulfill our purpose to change lives for the better.”
Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) provides tax credits to businesses that make contributions to approved organizations addressing neighborhood needs. Fulton Bank’s participation in the program reflects its deep commitment to the communities it serves and its recognition of STEAM education as a cornerstone of regional economic vitality.
