Apply for the Da Vinci Science Center 2026 STEAM Student Scholarship Awards today.
The Science Center seeks spectacular high school science students in Lehigh and Northampton counties for prestigious student awards. In addition to joining a long list of notable prior winners, each of the honorees shall receive a $2,000 scholarship.
We encourage students from all backgrounds to apply. All awards are merit-based, and some also take financial need into consideration.
Scholarships awarded ($2,000 each):
- One (1) Erel STEM Scholarship Award – open to girls only
- Two (2) High School Seniors – open to all genders
- One (1) 9th to 11th Grade Student – open to all genders (this award will take financial need into consideration)
- One (1) Allentown School District 9th to 11th Grade Student – open to all genders
Applicants for the Da Vinci Science Center STEAM Student Scholarship Awards must be:
- High School students seeking funds to support extracurricular STEAM activities (9th-11th grade) or post-secondary studies (12th grade)
- Engaged in curiosity and creativity beyond the classroom
- Involved in and integrates 2 or more of the following– science, technology, engineering, arts, and math
- Persistent, even in the face of obstacles
- Able to demonstrate their ability to inspire others to engage in and pursue STEAM
- Attending school in Lehigh or Northampton County
- In good standing academically with a 3.2 GPA or higher
Da Vinci Science Center Board Members and individuals whose principal place of employment is Da Vinci Science Center, as well as their family members, are ineligible for awards.
Application Process
- Jan. 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.: Application Deadline
- March 2, 2026: Applicants notified of finalist status by this date
- Week of March 9, 2026: Finalist interviews with Selection Committee (20 min. interview, between 5-9 p.m.)2
- March 16, 2026: Winners notified by this date
- April 24, 2026: Presentation of awards at the Science Soiree
2Applicants should hold evenings this week open in the event they are selected as finalists.

Includes needed travel, housing, application fees and tuition for programs like but not limited to:
- Pre-college summer programs
- Leadership programs
- Research opportunities

- After school programs
- STEAM themed competitions
- Internships
- PA Governor’s School for the Sciences
