Da Vinci Science Center Announces Out-of-This-World Summer Lineup and Fall Fun for Families

ALLENTOWN, PA, July 2, 2025 – Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion is heating up the summer with an action-packed lineup of exhibits, live science shows, and animal encounters — and a beloved Disney favorite launching this fall!

Mission: Astronaut – Now through Sept. 1

Train like a real astronaut and blast off into a STEM-powered adventure in Mission: Astronaut, now open through Sept. 1. This immersive exhibit challenges visitors to solve complex problems, test their teamwork, and explore how space exploration shapes life on Earth. From mind-bending challenges to cutting-edge tech, this is your chance to step into the boots of real astronauts. Mission: Astronaut is not included with general admission. Tickets are $6 per person or $5 for members.

Mission: Astronaut is a traveling exhibition produced and toured internationally by Flying Fish, with support from The DoSeum and the Intrepid Museum.

The Scoop on Ice Cream: Live Science Show – Saturdays and Sundays in July

Get the inside scoop on the cool science of ice cream! This interactive show blends science and sweetness as guests explore what makes ice cream smooth, creamy, and delicious. The show ends with a live ice cream-making demonstration — and your own sundae at the toppings buffet. The Scoop on Ice Cream is a ticketed experience and not included with general admission or membership. Tickets are $10 per person or $8 for members.

Wildlife Weekends – Fridays and Saturdays in August

This August, Da Vinci Science Center goes wild with Wildlife Weekends! Meet incredible animals and connect with expert educators from across the region during live shows:

  • Fridays – Da Vinci Science Center Animal Ambassador Shows (Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22)
  • Saturdays –
    • Aug. 2: Wildlands Conservancy – Wildlife of the Lehigh River Watershed
    • Aug. 9: Hawk Mountain Sanctuary – Raptor Shows & Activities
    • Aug. 16: Elmwood Park Zoo – Zoo on Wheels
    • Aug. 23: PA Bat Conservation and Rehabilitation – Native Bat Show

All Wildlife Weekends shows are included with general admission or membership.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit – opening Sept. 27

Just announced! Get ready to join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy for an interactive Clubhouse adventure as they plan a surprise birthday party for Pluto! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Exhibit opens September 27 and is included with general admission or membership.
