ALLENTOWN, PA, Feb. 11, 2026 – Da Vinci Science Center announces the opening of Body Worlds 101 this Friday, February 13, 2026. This internationally recognized exhibition offers guests an opportunity to explore the human body in remarkable detail using real human specimens preserved through the groundbreaking technique of plastination. Visitors of all ages will gain a deeper understanding of the systems, structures, and processes that keep the human body functioning.
Members of the media and special guests are invited to a preview on Friday, February 13 at 8:30 a.m. Dr. Whalley, curator of Body Worlds 101, will be present to offer exclusive insight into the exhibition, share behind the scenes information, and answer questions about the specimens and the scientific stories featured throughout the experience.
Body Worlds 101 gives guests an unparalleled look at human anatomy. Full body plastinates, individual organs, and detailed anatomical slices illustrate how the body works from both a functional and structural perspective. Visitors can see firsthand the mechanisms that sustain life and observe the interplay between anatomy and daily activity.
The exhibition also provides a clear and accessible understanding of common health concerns such as arthritis, heart disease, and lung conditions. Through visual examples and informative displays, guests will learn how these ailments affect the body and why prevention and healthy habits matter.
