ALLENTOWN, PA, June 10, 2025 – Da Vinci Science Center is thrilled to announce the landing of its latest hands-on experience: Mission: Astronaut — an interactive exhibit that takes visitors of all ages on a journey into the world of space exploration. Now open and available for a limited time through Labor Day, this cosmic adventure is perfect for families, students, and anyone curious about what it takes to become an astronaut.

From testing your reflexes and balance to practicing robotic arm coordination and simulating spacewalks, Mission: Astronaut puts guests in the boots of real-life space explorers. Visitors will encounter the challenges of training for space travel, explore the wonders of zero gravity, and discover what it takes to live and work beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

“We’re excited to offer an exhibit that’s as fun and thrilling as it is educational,” said Lin Erickson, Executive Director and CEO at Da Vinci Science Center. “Mission: Astronaut invites everyone—kids, teens, and adults alike—to step into the shoes of astronauts and ignite their curiosity about space and science.”

More than just an exhibition, Mission: Astronaut is a launchpad for inspiration. Whether you’re a space enthusiast or a curious explorer, this one-of-a-kind experience will leave you looking at the cosmos in a whole new way. This traveling exhibition was produced and is toured internationally by Flying Fish with support from The DoSeum and the Intrepid Museum.

“We are thrilled to bring Mission: Astronaut to life in partnership with The DoSeum and the Intrepid Museum. This exhibition embodies our commitment to fostering a love for science, technology, and discovery. By offering an engaging hands-on experience that sparks curiosity, we hope to inspire a new generation of space enthusiasts and innovators,” said Jay Brown, Principal & Managing Director of Flying Fish.

The exhibit is not included with general admission. Visitors ages 3 and up must purchase general admission tickets in addition to Mission: Astronaut tickets.
