Allentown native Sally first visited Da Vinci Science Center as a 4th grader, and that spark of curiosity stayed with her through South Mountain Middle School, William Allen High School, and now Lehigh University, where she’s studying engineering.
This year, Sally returned to the Science Center through Lehigh’s Interdisciplinary Capstone Design program with support from Endress+Hauser, creating an interactive demonstration unit to teach children about instrumentation. She even tested the prototype with students from her own middle school during Manufacturing Career Connection Day.
Encouraged by Da Vinci Science Center’s Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Hoda Ehsan, Sally is now pursuing her next goal: becoming a science exhibit designer. From curious 4th grader to aspiring exhibit designer, her journey shows how inspiration can truly come full circle.
